It won't remove left-over files from a previous install, but it will hopefully reveal and fix what caused the Error 1714 failure. But if you don't have it, or that effort fails, or you just want to go straight to the problem, try the following. The usual advice on this forum and elsewhere seems to be to re-run the install/remove program for the last version of the program. It's not a very helpful message - especially if you're your own "technical support group". ![]()
